Training objective

This training has only one, clear goal:

Prepare candidates to pass the PMP® and CAPM® exams in the quickest and most effective way possible.

We measure the success of this training using two very clear indicators:

  • No matter how much one prepares before the test, 95% of training participants achieve at least 70% correct on the realistic test during the last day of the training.
  • After additional preparations under our supervision, nearly 100% of participants pass the exam in the first attempt.

Training description

This training program combines a comprehensive introduction to the project management approach promoted by PMI in PMBOK® Guide, 4th edition together with dozens of exercises related to the exam itself.

Not only do we focus our effort on making sure that participants familiarize themselves with the correct processes, tools and techniques described in the PMBOK® Guide, but also that they understand how these work in practice as well as how they interact between each other. All this is combined with hundreds of sample exam questions and dozens of practical exam tips and tricks. Thanks to this approach participants feel more comfortable when answering any questions asked during the exam because they already know how to think in such a way.

We use the latest methods for teaching adult professionals. We strive to do more than just hand over knowledge and help participants discover the structure of it. Thanks to our well designed exercises we make sure everything is well understood and assimilated as well. To achieve this we use our own materials and excellent manuals from O’Reilly: HeadFirst PMP.

Training duration is 5 days and is extremely intense. We know that in addition to this participants have their normal professional duties as well. This is why we have divided everything into a consecutive 3 day session and a consecutive 2 day session with a 2-3 week break in between. This helps to reduce the chance of overload and to accommodate material better.

Taking into account the comfort of participants and our approach to treat everyone individually, we have established a limit of 12 participants per group. Given the high popularity of this training we advice early booking.

We are constantly improving this course by utilizing lessons learned from those who passed the exam!

Optimal time

Most PMP® and CAPM® courses are planned for 3 days. We know that it is not enough to understand the way the PMBOK® Guide works. On the other hand, multi-week training programs are too long when a candidate’s primary goal is to simply prepare for these certification exams.

Our experience shows that 5 days is the most optimal amount of time needed to get a solid foundation of knowledge in order to easily complement yourself in a short period of time.

Each hour of our training saves you, on average, approximately 7 hours of individual learning!

Our own training program

We have built this program based on the foundation of very effective learning techniques. We’ve made sure that participants understand the rules and ways of thinking behind the PMBOK® Guide.

Thanks to this approach, the amount of things to memorize has decreased significantly.

Dozens of exercises help participants to learn and memorize those (and only those) things that are really essential for the exam.

Full support

Participants receive full support from the moment they register for our course. We help with all the preparations including all the paperwork related to registering for the exam.

Our support includes phone and e-mail consultations, free sparing days in Wroclaw and a continuously updated tips-and-tricks database based on the experience of those who have already passed the exam.

Our support continues without any time limit until you pass the exam!

Training language

English is a native examination language for both the CAPM® and the PMP® certifications. PMI uses specific vocabulary and forms of questions. It is much easier to pass when you immerse in the right language.

Our course is held entirely in English. The level of the language gradually increases so everyone can easily catch up and start thinking “PMI’ish” quickly.

In fact, by attending our course you get 35h of Business English at no extra cost!

Average score (% of correct answers) on the realistic trial exam during the last day of the training is 72%.

Session 1 – Introduction (3 days)

Our course begins with an introductory session aimed at familiarizing participants with the scope of the exam and major knowledge areas. This gives a chance to quickly grasp the most essential knowledge and provides a solid foundation for assessing the initial level of participants’ readiness for the exam. At the end of the session each of the participants receives an individual development plan for the upcoming weeks.

Session program overview:

  • requirements for candidates and overview of the certification process
  • introduction to the PMBOK® Guide, 4th edition and sample questions
  • introduction to the most important and/or difficult knowledge areas required for the exam
  • practical exercises and sample questions
  • setting individual learning plans for the upcoming weeks

After this session each of the participants receives full e-mail and phone support.

Session 2 – Wrapping-up and trial exam (2 days)

After receiving a solid introduction during the first session, and 2-3 weeks of individual work on strengthening knowledge in selected areas, participants meet with us for the second time. The goal of the second session is to familiarize participants with the remaining knowledge areas, clarify all doubts, strengthen the understanding of the complete material and test participants’ ability to pass the exam.

  • introduction to the remaining knowledge areas required for the exam
  • practical exercises and sample questions
  • wrap-up and strengthening exercises for the key elements of knowledge (processes and connections between them, calculations, most important definitions)
  • full trial exam with individual results, summaries and recommendations
  • summaries and recommendations for the next steps towards certification.

Full support until the exam is passed successfully

Our cooperation does not end after the training.

Each participant will receive full support until we hear that the individual has passed the exam. Support includes free sparing days, help in the registration process and consultations by e-mail and phone.
